Job Description
We seek a Dairy Herd Health Supervisor to lead and manage comprehensive herd health programs that ensure productive, disease-free dairy operations. Responsibilities include overseeing vaccinations, treatments, biosecurity, medication records, and coordinating with veterinarians; training and supervising farm staff; monitoring milk quality, reproduction metrics, and calf care; analyzing herd data to improve productivity and welfare; and implementing preventive protocols and emergency response plans.
- Preferred: degree in Animal Science, Dairy Management, or Veterinary Technology
- Minimum 3 years dairy experience, strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficient with herd management software, meticulous record-keeping
- Ability to work flexible hours and operate in field conditions; commitment to animal welfare and food safety
