Job Description
Fatima Memorial Hospital in Lahore is actively seeking a qualified Purchase Officer. Applicants should possess a postgraduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a reputable organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle procurement of medicines and surgical disposables.
- Assist the Purchase Manager in daily operations.
- Conduct price checks and obtain necessary approvals.
- Act as a liaison between purchase staff and management.
- Maintain accurate records for the purchase section.
- Gather quotations from suppliers.
- Prepare comparative analyses of offers.
- Issue purchase orders.
- Supervise department activities in the Manager’s absence.
- Review and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
