Job Description
We seek a detail-oriented Financial Claims Examiner to audit and verify claims, invoices, and payroll to ensure accuracy, authorization, and proper documentation. Responsibilities include:
- Perform financial verification and reconciliation of invoices, purchase orders, and payroll against source documents.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and departmental laws, policies, and funding restrictions.
- Assign correct appropriation codes, program activities, and funding sources.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies; maintain financial records and logs.
- Provide supervised assistance with complex claims as required.
